Troubles with installing new/uninstalling software

If you are unable to install a new version or uninstall an existing version this may solve that problem. You will need to delete some temporary files. For redundancy purposes you will want to make a copy of these files to put back in later.
To find these files, on the admin account go to:

C:\users\”UserName”\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0
C:\users\”UserName”\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\Data

In both of these locations you are going to find strange file names. You will be looking for files & folders created on the same date. You will want to copy the files and folders to a new folder on Desktop or another location first. Once you have a backup you may delete the files you think may be causing the issue, will likely be the files created on the same date and time (date of installation) to make it easier order by “Date Modified” in the detail view of explorer. Try install/uninstall again. If you get the error saying it cannot be installed/uninstalled, go back and delete some more freely. Try install/uninstall again and repeat until it works. Once it works test the functionality of the computer (in case you deleted the wrong files) and keep the backup files for about a week after that it should be safe to delete the files.
